Our client is a national healthcare company. They are looking for a Jr. Business Analyst to support cross-functional initiatives across applications, product, business intelligence, and analytics portfolios.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys discovery work, current-state analysis, stakeholder engagement, and structured documentation. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating foundational documentation, establishing technology and financial baselines, and enabling project managers and business teams with clear, actionable insights.

Duration: 9 Months, to start

Location: Brampton - 4 days/week onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct discovery interviews with business and technology stakeholders to understand current processes, systems, reporting, and operational pain points
  • Develop current-state analyses and baseline documentation across technology, financial, and process domains
  • Create structured requirements documentation (BRDs/RBRDs) to support business and project teams
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure initiatives are grounded in clear scope, assumptions, and documented requirements
  • Provide PMs with structured findings, requirement summaries, and documentation to support execution
  • Maintain disciplined cadence around documentation updates, financial tracking, and stakeholder engagement
  • Support the creation and maintenance of foundational documentation across the department, including technology and application baselines, financial tracking and spend oversight, and architecture and documentation standards.
  • Track and update financial health and spend for initiatives using Excel
  • Prepare executive-ready PowerPoint presentations summarizing findings and project updates

Must Haves:

  • 2-3+ Years of experience in Business Analysis, self-starter with strong documentation skills and confidence engaging business stakeholders
  • Strong experience conducting discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and current-state analysis
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, financial modeling, structured analysis)
  • Comfort working with financial data, assumptions, and budget tracking
  • Ability to prepare executive-ready PowerPoint decks summarizing findings and insights

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with Power BI (writing requirements for reporting solutions)
