Our energy and utilities client is seeking a Intermediate UX/UI Designer (5+ years) to lead the design and delivery of user-centred digital experiences across web and mobile platforms using Webflow

Join a high-impact design initiative within a leading organization in the energy and resources sector. This role focuses on translating business and user needs into visually compelling, accessible, and responsive digital experiences. The position offers ownership of end-to-end design delivery-spanning UX strategy, interface design, and front-end collaboration with product and development teams. The engagement runs for one year on a contract basis, with flexibility to work remotely or hybrid in Calgary or Edmonton.

Must Haves

• 5+ years in UX/UI design and digital product design across web and mobile platforms
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Webflow for responsive design execution
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards, usability principles, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems and implementing brand-aligned interfaces
• A technical diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS
• Experience designing ecommerce or customer-facing digital products
• Exposure to enterprise or regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Translate business and user requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Apply user-centred design principles to create intuitive and effective solutions
• Design high-quality, visually consistent interfaces aligned with brand standards
• Develop and evolve design systems, components, and reusable patterns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful design implementation
• Translate approved designs into responsive digital experiences using Webflow or similar platforms
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs to improve accessibility and performance
