Intermediate Telecommunications Support Analyst to support new equipment deployments for a Telecommunications client!

Our valued telecommunications client is seeking a Intermediate Telecommunications Support Analyst to support new equipment deployments!


Initial 1-year contract in Bedford, Nova Scotia (hybrid - 3 days a week on-site: Monday to Wednesday), with strong possibility of extension. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.


As the successful candidate, you will support new Wireless Network expansion and upgrade projects to deliver the client's Wireless Build plan for 2026.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive installation work orders that meticulously detail the necessary steps, resources, and safety protocols for equipment deployments, ensuring clarity and accuracy for field teams
  • Accurate reservation of required materials, coordinating with supply chain management to guarantee timely availability and prevent project delays, while optimizing inventory levels
  • Develop innovative site solutions, conducting thorough site surveys and analyses to address challenges, optimize equipment placement, and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project delivery on schedule
  • Perform detailed technical assessments of proposed equipment installations, evaluating their feasibility, identifying potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical guidance and support to relevant teams during equipment installations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices
  • Continuously improve installation processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality


Must Have Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in wireless engineering, with a specific focus on radio network hardware
  • In-depth knowledge of radio network hardware, encompassing baseband units, quadpacks, DC/fiber layouts
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience in preparing detailed installation work orders, including comprehensive instructions and diagrams
  • Proven ability to develop innovative site solutions, addressing challenges related to equipment placement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders


Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Certification(s) in Agile framework and/or SAFe
  • Excellent communication skills in both English & French
