Description
Our client is looking for an Intermediate Technical Analyst with MS Purview experience to assist in the creation of data governance and compliance frameworks.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience as an IT technical analyst
- 3+ years of experience in M365 and Azure
- 2+ years of experience in Purview
- Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for automating and integrating Purview solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data management, and data security principles.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Exact Data Match
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and Enforce Data Policies: Create and enforce policies for data loss prevention (DLP), data retention, and sensitive information protection.
- Data Governance and Cataloging: Build and maintain a data catalog, manage metadata, and track data lineage to improve data visibility and understanding.
- Risk Management: Perform risk assessments, monitor for compliance breaches, and integrate Purview with security measures to enhance data protection.
- Integration: Integrate Purview with other data sources, M365 workloads.
- Reporting: Monitor data usage and compliance, generating reports to identify areas for improvement
