Our public enterprise client is looking for an Intermediate Talent and OE Lead to assist in organizational effectiveness processes - 141642


3 months, with possibility of extension up to 6 months, with 3 business days per week


Must Have

o Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

o Minimum 7-10 years of experience in progressive HR, P&C, Talent management, or Organizational Development roles, with a demonstrated track record in:

  • Succession planning design and execution
  • Enterprise-level talent strategy development
  • Leadership development alignment and integration

o Experience working in or consulting for complex, unionized and/or public sector organizations.

o Demonstrated success supporting or leading talent initiatives in partnership with internal P&C teams.

o Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across business areas and levels.

  • Recognized certification in coaching, change management, or leadership development (e.g., PROSCI, ICF, CPTD) is considered an asset.


Job Function:

Working closely with the internal TM&OD team, this role will provide strategic insight, project leadership, and hands-on support to help shape and motivate key initiatives aimed at building leadership strength across the organization. This is a collaborative, non-managerial role intended to bolster team capacity.


Responsibilities

· Provide strategic expertise and practical guidance on designing and integrating succession planning and talent strategy frameworks that align with organizational priorities and key T&OE deliverables.

· Collaborate with internal teams to co-develop or refine processes, tools, and metrics that support robust talent identification and leadership readiness.

· Advise on the alignment of leadership development programming with long-term succession and talent needs.

· Support the design, facilitation, and delivery of processes that help leaders engage with succession and development plans.

· Provide coaching and thought partnership to the TM&OD team as they execute on related projects and lead engagement with leaders across the organization.

· Contribute to the creation of high-quality reports, presentations, and resources related to talent strategy initiatives
