Our valued public sector client is hiring a Intermediate SharePoint Online Developer to support the migration of information and records from shared drives and on-prem repositories into SPO libraries.


Background:


The agency uses several information and records management tools to support the housing management activities required to provide housing management services, including Microsoft SharePoint (on premise), GCDocs, Microsoft 365 (M365) SharePoint Online (SPO) and Teams.


Tasks:


  • Support migration of information and records from shared drives and on-prem repositories into SPO libraries using the departmental information architecture templates.
  • Set-up and configure SPO using a “hub/home”, communication and Team sites including other M365 app integrations to create a unified environment for storing and managing information and records.
  • Set-up and configure a new employee corner communication/news site that will replace the existing WordPress “Employee Corner” website.
  • Provide advice and guidance for architecture solution-design options, in consideration of a broad range of requirements such as accessibility, security, data privacy, in collaboration with partner teams.
  • Collaborate with partner service provision teams and provide guidance and training with regards to SPO best practices, including common integrations with other M365 applications, such as Teams, Forms, Lists, Planner, Power Automate and others.


Must Haves:


  • SPO development - 6+ years
  • SharePoint 2016 or 2019 - 3+ years
  • SPO site architecture - 1+ years
