Description
Our large utilities client is looking for an Intermediate Settlements Analyst, to support both energy marketing settlements and asset-related financial operations in a hybrid work environment.
Must-haves:
- 5 + years Finance or accounting background (understanding of financial processes, month-end/quarter-end close, and variance analysis)
- Experience with settlements and energy marketing activities, ensuring accurate invoicing and reconciliation of trading and asset-related transactions.
- Systems proficiency: SAP, GenPortal, Allegro, Horizon (or similar settlement/trading platforms)
- Strong analytical skills for resolving transactional discrepancies and performing variance analysis
- Ability to manage month-end and quarter-end processes accurately and on time
