Our valued public sector client is seeking Intermediate React Native Mobile App Developers (iOS & Android) (5+ years) to support the development of mobile applications for a national digital services initiative. The selected resources will assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms as part of a mobile application modernization program.

The project aims to enhance digital service delivery by implementing modern, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions. Working within an Agile Scrum delivery environment, the developer will collaborate with product teams and technical stakeholders to implement new mobile features, integrate backend services, optimize application performance, and support deployment pipelines. The resource will also contribute to mobile architecture documentation, testing strategies, and continuous integration practices while ensuring compliance with enterprise development and security standards.

Must Haves:

• 5-10 years of experience as a System Programmer / Developer
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the last 5 years developing mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the last 5 years using React Native
• Minimum 1 year of experience within the last 5 years working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Experience developing mobile solutions integrated with backend APIs and services
• Experience implementing testing strategies including unit, integration, UI/UX, and performance testing
• Experience using mobile development tools such as Xcode and Android Studio
• Experience participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Tasks:

• Assist in the analysis, design, and development of mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
• Evaluate existing mobile solutions for reuse and adaptability
• Analyze functional requirements and recommend optimal mobile development approaches
• Design and document mobile application architecture, APIs, interfaces, and operational environments
• Develop mobile application modules, services, and backend integrations
• Establish and implement testing strategies including unit, integration, UI/UX, and performance testing
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in test and production environments
• Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance activities
• Maintain documentation including architecture documentation and release notes
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and provide status updates
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal teams
