Our valued public sector client is hiring a Project Manager to plan, monitor, assess and support the activities of a modernization project


Background:

This modernization project focuses on three main areas:

a. Connecting and Integrating Systems: The project will connect and integrate systems and sensors used for collecting and managing intelligence information.

b. Upgrading Digital Tools: It will update the digital tools used to coordinate and manage intelligence operations.

c. Improving Sensor Technology: The project will enhance the Army’s sensor technology and provide the ability to detect and respond to uncrewed aircraft threats.


Tasks:

  • Lead planning, monitoring, and assessment of project activities to ensure alignment with objectives, timelines, and budgets, including risk management, stakeholder engagement, and post-project reviews.
  • Define system requirements, evaluate alternatives for feasibility and cost/benefit, develop and test system solutions, and ensure alignment with client needs and organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and coordinate project documentation such as Statements of Work (SOW), Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), procurement documents, briefings, progress reports, and formal submissions for project approval.
  • Provide expert guidance on defence procurement processes and support the development of technical specifications, Statements of Requirements (SOR), and science and technology research coordination.
  • Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and external agencies; deliver presentations; respond to Requests for Information (RFIs); and support industry engagement initiatives like industry days.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, business development, and organizational improvement by supporting vision and mission development, recommending partnership opportunities, and aligning resources efficiently.


Must Haves:

  • PMP Certification
  • Project Manager on a project in excess of $1 million.
  • Available to travel
  • Must be able to work on site
