Our energy and resources client is seeking a Intermediate Project Controller to manage cost forecasting and full-cycle execution across pipeline projects using EcoSys and SAP.

This role provides full ownership of project control processes encompassing scope, schedule, cost, and change management in a multi-project environment. You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and proactive oversight across high-visibility operations initiatives. Must Haves

• Minimum 5 years in project controls or cost management across pipeline or operations projects
• Hands-on proficiency in EcoSys and SAP for forecasting and cost tracking
• Strong experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and variance analysis
• Education in engineering, finance, or related discipline

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting integrity programs or small-scale engineering projects
• Background in the oil and gas or energy sector

Responsibilities

• Provide full-cycle project controls management across planning, execution, and closeout
• Track incurred costs and deliver accurate accruals throughout all project phases
• Own complete AFE management including memo reviews, funding coordination, and final closeout
• Perform budget and forecast variance analysis to support proactive financial decisions
• Collaborate with project and program managers as well as accounting teams for consistent reporting
• Monitor schedules and budgets using EVM and prepare stakeholder reports
• Prepare and track change orders, analyzing impacts and updating forecasts accordingly
