Description
Our client is looking for an Intermediate Organizational Change Management Consultant to support the modernization initiative related to Health Card issuance and Management.
Overview:
The role will be supporting organizational change management efforts through the creation and delivery of organizational change management deliverables in alignment with the Prosci/ADKAR methodology and best practices. There are a significant number of stakeholders that will need to be overseen (scheduled, discussed, documented) and partnerships that will be required to make this project successful. Respondents will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and technology driven environment. Proven experience and skills in leading change management efforts, effective communication, leadership, problem solving, documentation, and a rigor for quality control are also required. Reporting to the Project Lead, the Organizational Change Management resource will lead organizational change management portions of the project (as specified below), as well as leverage their expertise in business transformation to contribute to the overall project.

Must Have's:
- 5+ years in an Organizational Change Management role
- The proposed Resource must possess a Prosci® Organizational Change Management Certification
- Experience working in a highly integrated business environment
- Experience on complex projects involving a combination of system and business transformation
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, or organizational change management
- Demonstrated supportive and participative leadership ability
- Proven ability to provide support and training virtually, facilitation skills, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope and assess magnitude of change impacting project stakeholders within and outside of eHealth
- Facilitate discussions to gather and understand stakeholder impacts of change
- Assess scope of the business change that will occur with the transformation
- Collaborate with the project team to identify all stakeholders who are affected by the change; and all training that may need to be done with those affected
- Understand the impact of these changes on each stakeholder group and the potential risks for adoption of the new solution
- Assess, or coordinate the assessment of, readiness for these changes (organizational and user readiness)
- Assess people related risks and develop related mitigation strategies
- Develop required organizational change management deliverables, including Change Management strategy, and change management plans, change management events and change management assets
- Collaborate with the communications lead, contributing to the communication plans and supporting the interplay between communications and the change management required to prepare eHealth staff for reactions to communications disseminated outside of eHealth
- Support the project leadership on sponsor engagement and reports
- Collaborate with the senior business analyst and identified stakeholder leads (internally and externally) on training plans, reinforcement plans and resistance management plans
- Execute the change management plans by managing change management activities across all aspects of the project, with a particular focus on health systems partners
- Support the senior business analyst and project leadership on executing change management plans impacting eHealth employees
- Provide organizational change management support at the time of implementation and develop new approaches and resistance management plans as required to deal with adoption obstacles which may arise
- Evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and tactics used to promote adoption
- Maintain project documentation related to organizational change management activities
- Adhere to Prosci/ADKAR methodology and standards to deliver OCM for projects/initiatives
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members as required
