Overview

Our client in the insurance sector is seeking an Intermediate QA Analyst to support digital and mobile testing initiatives, including work on Identity Verification and customer-facing web platforms.


This role will focus heavily on manual testing, accessibility validation, and browser-based application testing, working within an Agile delivery team supporting multiple digital products and enhancements.


This is a 6-month contract, with a targeted start date in early June.


Responsibilities
  • Create and execute manual test cases for digital and web-based applications
  • Perform accessibility testing using tools such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and Android TalkBack
  • Conduct browser-based and mobile testing using tools like BrowserStack
  • Support integration, sprint-level, and certification testing across multiple digital initiatives
  • Develop test data and validate end-to-end functionality across platforms
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, etc.)
  • Collaborate with development and internal QA teams for defect tracking and resolution
  • Support testing across multiple products including Identity Verification and digital enhancements


Must-Have Qualifications
  • 5-6+ years of experience in manual QA testing
  • Experience testing web-based and/or mobile applications
  • Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
  • Strong experience with test case creation and execution
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and shifting priorities

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Exposure to Playwright (automation mindset or hands-on)
  • Experience with Postman / API testing
  • Experience in financial services or insurance environments
