Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Java Web Architect to to architect, define a strategy and upgrade the Apache SOLR solution from version 8.11.1 to the latest version. The technical resource should have strong experience in Apache SOLR (including Lucene) in a Java/Tomcat environment to assist the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Define a migration strategy:
  • Define a regression testing strategy
  • Configuration of Apache SOLR
  • Migration strategy document including estimates and risks
  • Architecture / Configuration document to address requirements
  • Regression testing strategy
  • Debug and fix issues found during testing


Must have:

  • Experience with SOLR 8+
  • Experience with Tomcat
  • Experience with Lucene
  • Reliability clearance


Nice to have:

  • Bilingual
