Our client is seeking an Intermediate GIS Systems Analyst (Contractor) to support GIS initiatives across their Power, Water and Drainage business units, focused on upgrading and implementing ArcGIS Enterprise environments (Hybrid, Edmonton AB).[013-2026]

Overview

This is a hands-on systems analyst role on the GIS team, responsible for upgrading and installing ArcGIS Enterprise implementations and diagnosing application, code, and web server issues. The client has numerous application-focused IT initiatives planned for 2026-2027, primarily software upgrades and new installations.

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 5 years implementing and/or administering ArcGIS Enterprise
• Extensive experience with ESRI Utility Network and Esri Field Maps
• End-to-end troubleshooting across front end, API, database, and infrastructure
• Proficient with SQL Server and SSMS
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot Python / PowerShell applications
• 4-year Computer Science or Engineering degree, OR 2-year Computer Engineering / Systems Technology diploma

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with JAMS Job Scheduling solution
