Description
Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of an Intermediate Business Analyst with experience with Google Drive to develop and implement digital asset management systems.
ROLE:
In support of our Client's Communications, Programming and Customer Engagement (CPCE) department, the candidate will play a critical role in standardizing, organizing and establishing process over the Client’s digital media assets, ensuring photography and videos are discoverable, accessible and usable. The candidate will also be responsible for training staff on the use of the DAM. CPCE currently uses Google Drive as its DAM software. However, photography and video assets exist in multiple places across the organization and our Client doesn’t have standard system. Staff have difficulty finding digital assets that meet their needs, have traceable permissions, and are new to the collection.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing efficient and effective business processes to support our Client’s current software. They will also provide guidance and expertise in the areas of metadata, taxonomy, Large Language Models, asset lifecycle management, and content governance. As part of this work, the candidate will work closely with CPCE to understand business requirements, audit, cull and categorize existing photo and video inventory, and implement solutions that standardize and streamline workflows.
MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Proven experience developing and implementing digital asset management systems
• Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy best practices and workflow design
• Experience with DAM software, such as Google Drive, Adobe Experience Manager, Canto, Brandfolder or Bynder
• Strong understanding of marketing practices
• Well-versed in digital asset management best practices and industry trends
