Intermediate Business Analyst to support US Cash Initiatives and alignment with regulatory requirements for large financial bank - 38837


Location Address: Scarborough - Hybrid - 3 days (Potential to change to 4 in future)

Anchor days: Flexible

Contract Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension & conversion to FTE

Number of Positions: 2

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

Story Behind the Need

• Business Group: U.S. Operations

• Project: U.S. Cash Management

Supporting US cash initiative ensuring that cash management processes to assure they are well-documented, optimized, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Typical Day in Role

• Analyze and document current U.S. cash management end-to-end journeys

• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Client teams to support tactical and strategic solutions

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)

• Prepare reports and documentation to support strategic program decisions

Candidate Requirements / Must-Have Skills

1. 5+ years of experience in relevant professional sectors (banking preferred but not required)

2. Broad understanding of payments products, policies, and regulatory environment

3. Strong written and oral communication skills for business-focused plans and presentations

4. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio

5. Strong decision-making, forward-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with U.S. financial regulations

• SQL or VBA programming knowledge

• Lean/Six Sigma training

Education/Certifications

• Degree in a related field

• Project management certifications preferred
