Intermediate Business Analyst to support SharePoint and Teams content migration projects, including data classification, database migrations, and telephony modernization initiatives


Must haves:

  • Business Analyst experience working in an enterprise IT transformation, cloud migration, or Modern Workplace program
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview) and Teams Calling/Telephony migration
  • Hands-on experience in database discovery, analysis, and migration
  • Strong understanding of data classification, protection, and retention governance
  • Excellent stakeholder facilitation, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed business and functional analysis for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Purview labeling, and governance solutions
  • Lead discovery sessions for databases, shared drives, and content repositories to identify migration requirements, dependencies, and constraints
  • Collaborate with technical teams to document source-to-target mappings for data, databases, and structured repositories
  • Support the planning and implementation of Cisco to Teams Calling migration, capturing business needs, call flow requirements, and integration dependencies
  • Facilitate workshops with business units to validate collaboration structures, data classification, and operational workflows
  • Document business processes, user stories, decision logs, and operational procedures to support solution design and transition to sustainment
  • Conduct impact assessments on existing workflows and integrations (e.g., Outlook CRM, telephony, shared channels, and Teams governance)
  • Support testing and validation of Teams Calling and database migration outcomes against business requirements
  • Partner with the Project Manager, OCM Lead, and IT Operations to ensure end-to-end readiness and clear ownership post-implementation
  • Develop user and operational documentation to guide adoption, support, and governance processes
