Intermediate Business Analyst to reach out to vendors and gather information for a regulatory project with one of our major banking clients- 40021
Location Address: Hybrid - Toronto - 4 days/week
Contract Duration: 3 months (due to short nature of the project)
Schedule Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week
Story Behind the Need
Business group: GBM Business Risk Management - Canada - engaging market intermediaries (brokers, platforms)
Project: This is to assist in a regulatory project, which will require reaching out to multiple vendors and gather information. This hire will help us achieve this and ensure we are aligned with the new regulatory requirement. Specific regulatory requirement to be confirmed with all the vendors. Contractor is coming in to help reach out to the vendors - currently identifying vendors.
Typical Day in Role:
Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align with regulatory requirements.
This role will require gathering information from external vendors, documenting it, and subsequently communicating that inhouse.
Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
Serves as a liaison between the business community and operations with appropriate communication on the regulatory requirements.
Updating current documentation as related to this project
Candidate Value Proposition:

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 2-4 years’ relevant working experience in Capital Markets
2) Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines.
3) Intermediate skills with MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Vendor management experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree/Masters preferred
