Description
Our valued telecommunications client is seeking an Intermediate Bilingual Technical Sales Solutions Specialist to support the development of cabling opportunities related to commercial and industrial construction projects!
Initial 1-year contract in Ottawa, ON or Montreal, QC (hybrid - 4 days on-site/month with on-site meetings as required). 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Travel by car required to visit client sites - kilometers will be reimbursed through an expense account.
As the selected candidate, you will support the sales of structured cabling solutions in the commercial & industrial construction industry - identifying opportunities, promoting the organization's product, preparing proposals, making client presentations, and ultimately closing sales.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development - solicit new and existing customers to foster relationships, schedule meetings, generate demand and close business.
- Understand customers' short- and long-term business needs and challenges to effectively identify business opportunities for intent-based cabling solutions.
- Execute appropriate sales strategies in conjunction with Account Managers and Solution Architects to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage the planning, follow-up and execution of customer events for cabling practice presentations.
- On a regular basis, produce a summary of opportunities and results to track the success of the practice.
- Serve as the customer's single point of contact during the sales process.
- Dedicate time to continuing education by exploring and studying new technologies, both in-house and externally.
Must Have Skills:
- Pre-sales activities: ability to sell to senior customer executives, with the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and quickly establish credibility with customers.
- Mastery of structured cabling solutions and LAN and WAN concepts.
- Experience in positioning and selling solutions in the IT world.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French is an asset.
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Demonstrated experience providing network related architecture and planning; ability to produce network solutions, both independently and collaboratively
- Experience and/or training related to one or more Architecture & Service Delivery Frameworks (TOGAF, eTOM, ITIL, CoBiT, etc.)
