Intermediate Banking Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Duration: 6 months


Work Location (Remote, Hybrid): Primarily remote as of right now (2-4 days in office per month) needs to be willing to do hybrid is moving to 4 days a week in office


SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Leads the development/design/delivery of effective talent acquisition and diversity strategies, plans and programs for a portfolio and acts as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise.


CUSTOMER

• Act as the Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and businesses supported, having deep expertise of external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talent

• Manage end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition program

• Develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent

• Advise business leads on talent market gaps and provides insights on alternate practices and opportunities

• Execute on determined plans and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approach

• Focus on creating an optimal Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle aligned to the Bank's customer experience model

• Maintain expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and programs as they relate to recruitment

• Cultivate strong relationships with HR partners, HR CoEs and business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal sourcing approaches

• Maintain, analyze and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities; consult with hiring managers

• Promote The Bank brand in the marketplace through developing and maintaining strong candidate and industry networks

• Lead advertising and brand activities to attract talent, utilizing internet / intranet / social media and other recruiting tools as appropriate

• Represent The Bank in various recruitment functions as needed

• Generally interacts with executive level managers up to and including the most senior management layers


SHAREHOLDER

• Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity

• Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the talent acquisition function

• Follow and recommend internal and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the organization or candidates

• Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite of the Bank

• May lead special initiatives by representing/ the business internally and externally, as a subject matter expert

• Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of plans, programs, and practices related to own area of expertise

• Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with HR priorities

• Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience

• Keep abreast of and advise the team on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements in the discipline and assess potential impacts

• Ensure the prompt and thorough resolution of escalated issues

• Focused on specialized portfolio / niche capabilities

• Work independently as the senior subject matter expert

• Provide advice and/or guidance to various stakeholders and team members and may coach and educate others

• Considered a subject matter expert within a given area

• Focus on medium -term issues (e.g. monthly-quarterly)

• Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end to end

• Undertake and complete a variety of projects and initiatives, may include the integration of cross functional processes within own area of expertise

• Generally reports to a Senior Manager role


MUST HAVE:

1.) Executive level exposure, being a TA partner supporting executives who lead a business unit (high business acumen)

2.) Strong organizational skills

3.) Recruited for a complex portfolio that crosses multiple lines of business ( National scope )

Degree/Certifications Required: Human Resources degree background/formalized HR training
