Duration: 2 months (finishing out the backfills contract first)
Work Location:
-Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: 100% remote, potentially hybrid if there is an event in the GTA/Toronto
CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:
Degree/Certifications Required: Human Resources degree background/formalized HR training is preferred but not mandatory (mix of agency and corporate experience)
Years of Overall Experience: 5+ years of experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the development/design/delivery of effective talent acquisition and diversity strategies, plans and programs for a portfolio and acts as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise.
- Act as the Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and businesses supported, having deep expertise of external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talent
•Manage end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition program
•Develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent
•Advise business leads on talent market gaps and provides insights on alternate practices and opportunities
•Execute on determined plans and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approach
•Focus on creating an optimal Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle
•Maintain expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and programs as they relate to recruitment
•Cultivate strong relationships with HR partners, HR CoEs and business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal sourcing approaches
•Maintain, analyze and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities; consult with hiring managers
•Generally interacts with executive level managers up to and including the most senior management layers
SHAREHOLDER
•Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
•Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the talent acquisition function
•Follow and recommend internal and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the organization or candidates
•Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite of the Bank
•Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of plans, programs, and practices related to own area of expertise
•Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with HR priorities
•Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
•Keep abreast of and advise the team on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements in the discipline and assess potential impacts
•Ensure the prompt and thorough resolution of escalated issues

•Lead, motivate and develop relationships with internal and external business partners / stakeholders to develop productive working relationships.

•Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:
5+ years of experience
1.) Executive level exposure, being a TA partner supporting executives who lead a business unit (high business acumen)
2.) Strong organizational skills
3.) Recruited for a complex portfolio that crosses multiple lines of business
NICE-TO-HAVE
