Position Title: Business Systems Analyst

Duration: 6 months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid role, Tuesday and 2nd Friday every month

Office Location: 81 Bay 15th Floor

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solutions.

• Evaluates business processes, identifies gaps, and recommends improvements.

• Translates business needs into technical specifications and solution designs.

• Facilitates meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather requirements and validate solutions.

• Assists in testing and validating that solutions meet business objectives.

• Supports organizational change management by helping users adapt to new systems and processes.

Must have skills:

1. BSA experience - 6+ years, including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder management.

2. Jira and Confluence - 3 years of hands-on experience for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.

3. Experience working with MS Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint - 5+ years, including process visualization, data analysis, and presentation development.

4. Experience working with technical teams and projects, specifically any case management system (e.g., ServiceNow/Resolver) - 2 years.

5. Experience working with technical teams - 5 years, including translating business requirements into technical specifications.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to facilitate meetings and workshops

Nice to have skills:

1. Banking experience.

2. Knowledge of databases - SQL.
