Position Title: BSA - Consultant, Digital Analytics & Integration

Duration: 12 months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - 1 day a week and 1 Friday a month

Office Location: Toronto - 81 Bay, 18th Floor

Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday

What does the LOB do?: Designs, develops, and optimizes advanced analytics solutions; drives data-driven decision-making through engineering, modeling, visualization, and AI integration.

What project will this contractor be working on? Building and optimizing analytics solutions in on-prem and cloud environments; enhancing data storytelling and AI adoption.


Job Description:

As a member of the Digital Analytics & Integration team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing advanced analytics solutions in on-prem and cloud environments. You will leverage your expertise in data engineering, modelling, visualization, and storytelling to deliver actionable insights and drive business outcomes. You’ll collaborate directly with business and technology stakeholders to build a data-driven culture - translating data into actionable


• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.

• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers.

• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.

• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.

• Supports one or more highly complex business processes.

• Works on multiple projects as a project team member.

• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

• Formulate system scope and objectives, and validate the developed requirements, testing, training and implementation of applications.

• Assist internal business groups on process improvement projects.

• Provide technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects.


Must Haves

• 2-4 years experience required.

Power BI: Advanced skills in building strategic dashboards for business insights.

Data Automation: Experience with integrating and transforming data for reporting.

Data Modeling: Strong grasp of joins, relationships, and handling large datasets.

SQL & Python: Proficient in SQL; Python required for data transformation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Comfortable presenting insights to varied audiences, including executives.

Collaboration: Proven experience working with cross-functional teams.

Azure Databricks: Experience with data modeling and transformation workflows.


Nice to Haves

PySpark: Familiarity with distributed data processing.

Executive Communication: Ability to tailor insights for senior leadership.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
