Description
Our Calgary client is looking for an Intermediate Application Support Analyst with scripting experience to do analysis, troubleshooting, root cause identification and resolution of support inquires for a regulatory application
*onsite 4 days a week in downtown Calgary office required*
Must Haves:
- 4+ years' experience as an Application Support Analyst
- Experience in software troubleshooting and support
- Good coding and scripting skills (MS SQL, Powershell, Python)
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases (MS-QL & MYSQL)
- Experience with continuous integration and related tools such as Git
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with previous practical experience in an agile/scrum project environment
- Experience using Azure DevOps and ServiceNow
- Experience with some of the following would be considered an asset: Node JS, Tibco, OpenText AppWorks, SharePoint, JavaScript, MongoDB, .NET
- Background or knowledge of oil and gas upstream activities or the regulatory work associated with industry
