Intermediate Application/Software Architect to support the assessment, planning, and modernization of the front-end architecture for internal applications

Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Intermediate Application/Software Architect to support the assessment, planning, and modernization of the front-end architecture for internal applications as part of a Cloud Modernization project. The resource will focus on migrating and modernizing user interfaces using ReactJS and the Fluent UI framework and will work in coordination with the development team to ensure alignment with enterprise design standards and application consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the current front-end architecture.
• Use the architecture developed for the Safety Analysis application as a foundational design reference for other applications.
• Create a modernization plan for transitioning front-end components and interfaces to the ReactJS framework.
• Develop a common look and feel across all internal applications, guided by the Safety Analysis application’s design principles.
• Lead the continuous development of a shareable, reusable library of in-house components in ReactJS, using the Fluent UI framework to ensure visual and functional consistency.
• Lead the development and implementation of a feature-based migration strategy for moving existing applications to the ReactJS framework.
• Provide all the necessary knowledge transfer with the development team, including detailed guidance on environment setup (development, testing, stage and production), application configuration, and component usage.

Must have:

• 2 years experience with Azure Cloud Services
• 2 years experience with ReactJS
• 3 projects working with Azure SQL and .NET Core or .NET 5 and above

Nice to have:

• GOC experience
