Intermediate Analytics Administrator to manage and maintain analytics environments developed in Python and R for a healthcare client

Our valued healthcare client requires the services of an Intermediate Analytics Administrator to manage and maintain analytics environments developed in Python and R!

Initial 1 year contract with strong possibility of extension.100% Remote in EST timezone. 7.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-going support to internal Analytical users.
• Work with other Analytical Administrators to resolve any issue on the analytical environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across analytics and data processing environments (Python, R, Spark, Stata, SPSS)
• Manage permissions on the different analytical environments (Windows, Linux).
• Monitor logs, create R and Python programs and scripts for automation.
• Participate in the implementations of different technologies to support Analytical Environment
• Collaborate with operational and infrastructure teams to support platform reliability and deployments
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of analytics and data platform technologies
• Support containerized and distributed data workloads (e.g., Spark jobs, container-based environments)

Must have skills:

• 5+ years experience programming using Python and R
• Demonstrated experience working with AWS cloud services (e.g. EC2, S3; EMR is a strong asset)
• Demonstrated experience working with relevant Python libraries like Pandas & NumPy, and Jupyter Notebooks
• Demonstrated experience working with PySpark / Spark-based data processing environments
• Demonstrated experience working with Docker / Docker Swarm
• 5+ years experience working with data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning

Nice to Have Skills:

• Demonstrated experience working with commercially available LLM's like Llama, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.
• Demonstrated experience working with Amazon EMR
• Demonstrated experience coaching/mentoring technical teams
