Location: Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)
Duration: 12 months (maternity leave coverage)

OverviewOur major banking client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Banking for Women program, a national client acquisition initiative spanning wealth and commercial banking.
This role will focus on maintaining program execution, coordination, and stakeholder alignment during a maternity leave coverage period. The successful candidate will operate in a structured yet fast-paced environment, supporting multiple concurrent workstreams and ensuring seamless delivery across internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate execution across multiple program workstreams, including events, roadshows, grant initiatives, and sponsorship activities
- Manage stakeholder communications, including oversight of shared inboxes and timely responses to external partners
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders
- Support logistics and execution of large-scale regional and national events
- Track deliverables, timelines, and action items to maintain program continuity
- Draft and refine speaker notes and executive-level communications
- Contribute to weekly updates and support preparation of materials for leadership as required
- Identify risks, gaps, or delays and escalate proactively
- Partner with cross-functional teams across wealth, commercial, and enterprise stakeholders
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and coordination frameworks to support ongoing program execution
- 4-7+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Program Coordinator role
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale programs, initiatives, or events, ideally with regional or national scope
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, corporate environment with high responsiveness expectations
- Experience coordinating across diverse stakeholder groups with varying priorities and communication styles
- Ability to operate independently while maintaining attention to detail and execution quality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Prior experience within banking or financial services
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with complex organizational structures
- Background supporting event planning, program delivery, or marketing-related initiatives
- Familiarity with Power BI or reporting tools
- Exposure to communication planning or strategy support
