Description
Our Tier 1 Banking Client is seeking a Data Engineer to support a Trade Surveillance multi-year initiative. You will be responsible for working on a major platform that will combine Scala, Python and Spark. This position is located in Halifax.
Must Have Skills:
- 5-7+ years Python/Scala and Spark Development Experience
- 3+ years experience work Python Programming
- Strong understanding of ETL practices
- Experience with scripting (ie. Bash, Powershell)
- Github
- Comfortable working cross functionally with stakeholders in DevOps, QE, Dev
Hybrid x3-4 day/week, 1-year contract to start.
