Our energy & resources client is seeking a Data and Analytics Product Owner Consultant to implement Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud solutions - 01128

The Data and Analytics Product Owner consultant is accountable for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements for data products. The consultant will liaise with and provide subject matter expertise to IT teams, business stakeholders, and end-users to contribute towards meeting organizational objectives.

8 months contract to start. Hybrid 2 days/week onsite in Burnaby. 37.5 hours/week.

Must Haves

• Minimum 7 years of end-to-end experience with enterprise data warehouse, BI solutions, requirements, design, build, test, deployment, training, and support
• Minimum 7 years of experience with data engineering and reporting/analytics tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience implementing data warehouse/lakehouse
• Minimum 2 years of experience with DevOps or Agile/SCRUM methodology

Nice to Have

• Experience liaising between IT teams, business stakeholders, and end-users
• Work history in the power & utilities industry

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for data products
• Document and manage data and analytics requirements
• Liaise with IT teams, business stakeholders, and end-users
• Implement enterprise data warehouse and BI solutions
• Oversee project delivery for data warehouse/lakehouse initiatives
• Support deployment, training, and post-launch activities
• Utilize DevOps or Agile/SCRUM methodologies in project execution
