Data Analyst - Campaign Analytics & Execution (Wealth)


Duration: 12 months

Location: Toronto - Financial District


Overview:


  • Lead the pre-campaign analysis, preparation, and execution of lead programs and campaigns, as well as post-campaign analysis to determine effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Wealth partners by leading the design, development, and implementation of performance reporting and providing fact-based insights for business decisions.
  • Synthesize complex data from multiple databases and schemas using hands-on ETL experience to support campaign development and KPI tracking.
  • Design and produce comprehensive reporting including ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual dashboards and performance commentary.
  • Drive campaign deployment processes independently, proactively identifying emerging opportunities and handling non-routine situations.
  • Promote an analytics-driven culture by advocating for reporting automation and self-serve analytics consumption.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for campaign priorities and resource management.
  • Standardize campaign management approaches regarding documentation, communication, and processes to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Partner with channel leads and marketing analytics to recommend performance improvements and communicate results to Marketing Business Partners.
  • Maintain operational procedures by documenting all processes related to analytical and reporting workflows.



Must Haves:


  • 5+ years of experience working in campaign analytics environment
  • Strong experience with SAS EG (Enterprise Guide) and SQL - using these to connect with various source systems for ETL and reporting. Sources include Netezza and MySQL
  • Experience running campaigns for financial institutions
  • Experience interacting with campaign/marketing business stakeholders to discuss campaign targeting and performance metrics
  • Deep understanding of campaign processes and concepts, running campaigns, calculating KPIs


Nice to Haves:


  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud). This platform is managed by a separate team, but the selected candidate will sending campaign leads into SF CRM to develop journeys for clients.
