Description
Our large midstream client is looking for a Capital Accountant responsible for overseeing capital projects, financial reporting, regulatory support, and lease accounting within PowerPlan. (18972)
Must-haves:
- 4 + years experience in accounting for capital projects, assets, and related financial reporting.
- Ability to perform month-end close processes, ideally in PowerPlan or similar systems.
- Experience preparing rate base and forecast models.
- Proficiency in preparing monthly capital asset journal entries, financial reports, and account reconciliations.
- Ability to understand and communicate capital accounting policies effectively.
- Knowledge of regulatory filings and supporting documentation.
- Experience responding to audit queries and providing required information.
- Familiarity with lease accounting processes in PowerPlan or similar platforms.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve capital accounting issues.
