The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner to support our Operations team as their go-to partner for applications, portals, and system enhancements. You’ll manage the intake and delivery of new features, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to design scalable solutions.

This role blends business expertise in trading, brokerage, or payments with technical problem-solving-working with APIs, microservices, databases, and messaging solutions.


What You’ll Do
  • Act as the main contact for the Operations team, managing requests and prioritizing the backlog.
  • Gather and translate requirements into user stories, workflows, and functional specs.
  • Support applications that manage client, risk, and compliance workflows.
  • Work with REST APIs, event-driven models, and messaging solutions (e.g., Kafka).
  • Perform SQL-based analysis for troubleshooting and reporting.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Developers, and QA in an Agile environment.


What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years as a BSA or Product Owner in fintech, brokerage, trading, or payments.
  • Strong knowledge of transaction workflows, onboarding, KYC/AML, and compliance.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SQL, and event/messaging tools (Kafka preferred).
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter who can dig into issues and collaborate across teams.
