Description
Job Title - Business Information Management Specialist
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: End of Oct
Extension possible: yes
Conversion Possible: possible
Schedule and Location: Monday to Friday, core business hours - 2 days in the office/ Front street, Toronto
Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background:
- Someone well versed Power BI, AI tools, assist with reporting, streamline processes.
- Data Background would be ideal.
- Business acumen, experience working in another FI would be beneficial.
- Someone who is a strong communicator and strong interpersonal skills.
- Team collaboration and work in a very fast paced environment.
- Data Governance and control background would be beneficial.
- Enterprise experience would be strong beneficial.
Summary:
- SharePoint hub- rehaul and make more user friendly and accessible. Needs to be streamlined
- Writing communications, putting a story together. Will utilize co-pilot. Help to streamline and do communications.
- Ideal candidate would bring their fresh perspectives. Will also do reporting, Power BI dashboards.
- Supporting data literacy - ensure that training is fit and execute on it.
Overview:

- Build strong relationships across Business Segments and Corporate Functions to support data governance and management objectives.
- Strong strategic planning and execution discipline; able to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; simplifies complexity and influences outcomes.
- Familiarity with data governance and enterprise change management practices.
- Excellent technical proficiency with collaboration and content tools (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI, Teams).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in financial services/banking.
- Strong team collaboration
- Proven expertise in expectation setting and stakeholder management across shared services/multi-team environments.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and deadlines under pressure.
- Experience leading internal town halls, enterprise events, or community forums.
- Training execution planning
