Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 6-month contract (possible extension)

Summary

Responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and resilient Azure platform capabilities. Focus on creating a "service" that application teams can consume, emphasizing automation, standardization, and governance to enable faster, compliant workload deployment.

Role Deliverables

• Design, build, and maintain Azure Tools-as-a-Service components, including automation frameworks, pipelines, and reusable templates.
• Create and manage Azure tenants, ensuring proper configuration, governance controls, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Develop standardized, secure, and scalable patterns that enable self-service provisioning for common Azure services.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and security teams to embed compliance, identity, and policy requirements into all tooling.
• Support customer teams by guiding them through onboarding, adoption, and usage of TaaS offerings.
• Troubleshoot issues across CI/CD, infrastructure, and platform services to ensure smooth integration with Azure environments.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials to improve platform usability and operational readiness.

Education/Work Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on IT experience
• 3+ years specifically in Azure engineering
• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS (VMs, VNETs, NSGs) and PaaS (AKS, Key Vault, App Services, Storage Accounts).
• Proficiency in Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux

Other Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.
• Working within a, agile framework alongside developers and platform architects.
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation, procedures, and reports.
