Description
Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual (AV) Technician to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of professional audio/video conferencing environments across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, install, and configure AV equipment including displays, projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, and cabling
- Set up and support Video Teleconferencing (VTC) environments for meetings, presentations, and hybrid collaboration sessions
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV and VTC equipment issues quickly and effectively under pressure
- Perform preventative maintenance and testing of AV hardware to ensure optimal system reliability and performance
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to presenters, meeting participants, and end users
- Edit and enhance audio recordings to improve clarity, balance, and overall sound quality
- Perform post-production tasks such as color correction, transitions, and visual enhancements for multimedia content
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all AV deliverables meet technical and operational standards
- Support and maintain audio/video signal flow configurations, AV networking components, and conferencing systems
- Assist with equipment inventory management, transportation, and onsite deployment as required
Nice to have:
- Experience with AMX systems
- Experience with setting up and trouble shooting VTC
- Video Switches
Must have:
- Valid Driver's license
- Federal Government Secret clearance
This role includes regular travel to various client locations throughout Eastern Ontario.
