Duration: 12 months (Possibility of Extension)

Location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid 4 days in office

Role Overview

The AI Business Analyst bridges the gap between business needs and AI capabilities, ensuring that AI initiatives are strategically aligned and deliver measurable value. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and documenting AI opportunities, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and supporting the successful delivery and adoption of AI solutions within Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Opportunity Identification: Collaborate with business units to uncover and prioritize high-impact AI use cases that drive business value.

• Requirements Gathering & Translation: Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for AI solutions.

• Business Case Development: Build business cases, feasibility studies, and ROI frameworks for proposed AI initiatives.

• Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyze and document current business processes, identifying opportunities for AI-driven transformation and efficiency.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions to ensure alignment between business goals and AI solutions.

• Success Measurement: Define KPIs, track project outcomes, and report on the impact of AI initiatives.

• Change Management & Adoption: Support the integration and adoption of AI solutions, including training, documentation, and user enablement.

• Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor AI trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to inform solution design and business strategy.


Required Skills and Tools

• Strong business analysis and process mapping skills

• Understanding of Gen AI /ML concepts, technologies, and their business applications

• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management

• Familiarity with financial services workflows and regulatory requirements

• Proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Experience with Agile project delivery is an asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably with exposure to AI-driven projects in financial services

• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

• Experience supporting AI solution delivery and adoption

• Certifications in business analysis or AI technologies are an asset
