Position: Night Auditor
Full-time · Night shift (mandatory), weekends and holidays · Laval, Québec · As soon as possible · Hourly rate after probation: $28.57 + night premium

Located in the heart of Laval, the Sheraton is one of the region’s most recognized hotel addresses. As a Night Auditor, you ensure the accuracy of all daily business transactions, complete cash and account closings, while providing impeccable customer service during nighttime hours.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Classify and verify business transactions completed during the day
- Balance accounts and close cash registers for the various points of sale and front desk
- Prepare the internal deposit and update the guest registry
- Produce the daily revenue report and calculate occupancy forecasts
- Produce and forward auxiliary reports to management
- Welcome guests upon arrival, verify reservations, and suggest complementary services
- Assign rooms, issue keys, and provide useful information about the property
- Finalize expense postings, collect payments, and confirm, modify, or cancel reservations
- Respond to guest requests (wake-up calls, room changes, etc.)
- Handle guest comments and complaints and ensure follow-up
- Ensure the safety of guests and their belongings during the night
- Verify daily logs, guest accounts, cash reports, and supporting documents
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Qualities: Autonomy, initiative, versatility, stress tolerance, dynamism, honesty, sense of responsibility, leadership
Experience and education
DEP in hotel front desk operations or DEC in hotel management or tourism (an asset), at least 3 years of experience in high-volume customer service, auditing experience an asset, perfect bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) is required due to regular interactions with an international clientele, computer knowledge (Excel, Word), knowledge of POSITOUCH and LightSpeed an asset, basic accounting knowledge an asset. First Aid certification (Mandatory) – full training will be provided on-site to candidates who do not already hold it.
