WHAT YOU WILL DO
30% Operations Management · 30% Staff Management · 15% Customer Service
Operations and Administration
- Coordinate with the front desk for room readiness
- Inspect guest rooms and facilities
- Produce and verify daily reports
- Monitor team productivity
Staff Management
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team
- Provide on-the-floor support as needed
- Train employees
Customer Service
- Coordinate with the various hotel departments
- Handle guest comments and complaints
- Ensure availability of supplies and services
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, is required due to regular interactions with an international clientele
- DEC in Hotel Management or Tourism Management (or relevant training)
- Leadership, organizational skills, autonomy and stress tolerance
- Knowledge of hotel systems (Lightspeed) — an asset
- Experience in customer contact or team management — an asset
