The IT Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for building and maturing Sanimax’s Enterprise Architecture practice and establishing clear technology direction aligned to business priorities. This is a hands-on, collaborative senior technologist role working closely with the Solution Architecture team (delivery-focused), application and platform owners, Data & Analytics, and Infrastructure/Security teams to define target-state architecture, governance, standards, and roadmaps that improve scalability, integration, and decision-making across the enterprise.
This role will also chair key technology committees and drive architecture governance for major initiatives-ensuring solutions are secure, cost-effective, supportable, and aligned with Sanimax’s strategic direction.

Enterprise Architecture Practice Build-Out
Define and implement the EA operating model (principles, standards, decision forums, reference architectures, and documentation patterns).
Develop the foundational EA artifacts: target-state architecture, transition states, technology portfolio views, and risk/technical debt visibility.
Create measurable EA outcomes (e.g., reduced integration complexity, technology rationalization, improved delivery consistency).
Roadmaps & Strategic Direction
Create and maintain multi-year roadmaps across key domains: ERP, integration, data platform, applications, infrastructure, and security.
Translate strategy into sequenced initiatives with clear dependencies, costs, and expected business value.
Introduce and evolve Business Architecture by building capability maps and aligning investment decisions to business priorities.
Architecture Governance & Technology Committees
Chair technology/architecture committees, facilitating decisions and ensuring follow-through (standards adoption, exceptions management, and risk treatment).
Establish architecture review processes that support delivery speed while protecting long-term maintainability.
Drive technology rationalization: reduce redundancy, simplify the portfolio, and guide decommission/migration plans.
Collaboration with Delivery + Platform Teams
Partner closely with Solution Architects to ensure delivery designs align to enterprise standards and target state.
Work with application/platform owners to improve lifecycle management, vendor alignment, and platform health.
Collaborate with Data & Analytics on enterprise data architecture, data platform direction, and governance alignment.
Collaborate with Infrastructure/Security to embed resiliency, security controls, and operational readiness into architectures.
ERP, Integration & Data Architecture Leadership (Core Focus)
Provide enterprise architecture leadership for the ERP ecosystem, including roadmap direction, integration patterns, and supporting platforms.
Lead architecture direction for the Enterprise Integration Platform (patterns, interfaces, monitoring, reuse, and integration governance).
Align enterprise application architecture with the data platform (data flow, master data, analytics readiness, data quality).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Architecture certifications are a plus (e.g., TOGAF), but practical delivery and governance impact matter most.
Enterprise Architecture experience in a complex environment (multi-site, multi-system, integrated landscape).
Strong experience with ERP ecosystems (implementation, modernization, integration, and governance).
Proven experience with an Enterprise Integration Platform, including integration patterns and governance.
Strong experience with data platforms (data warehouse/lake/lakehouse concepts, pipelines, data governance alignment).
Practical knowledge of architecture disciplines: application, integration, data, and infrastructure, including security considerations.
Ability to lead committees, influence stakeholders, and drive decisions across IT and business partners.
Strong communication and documentation skills to produce clear artifacts: roadmaps, principles, reference architectures, and standards.
