Position is REMOTE : The selected candidate must reside within 250 km of our BOUCHERVILLE (Qc) office.

Under the direction of the department manager, the Technician, Deployment has the mandate to coordinate and execute deployment activities, supervise the work of third-party service providers, provide technical expertise in projects, and contribute to store support to carry out impeccable customer service. The incumbent must provide technical support for office automation such as software, operating systems, and mobile devices.

Your role

  • Provide post-implementation support after deployment

  • Supervise the work of service providers

  • Coordinate activities between the service provider(s) involved in the deployment, in-store contacts, and the relevant IT service center

  • Contribute to store support to provide impeccable customer service

  • Ensure and maintain a high standard of customer service Manage escalations with users and senior management

  • Provide support to users on getting started with IT equipment, mobile devices, and software

  • Handle incidents and follow-up on service requests

  • Ensure the maintenance, administration, and security of equipment

  • Write procedures and various technical documents

  • Monitor problems and escalations with customers and suppliers

  • Carry out inventory management with third-party vendors

The qualifications we are looking for

  • College diploma (D.E.C.) in Computer Science or the equivalent

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a computer technician

  • Bilingualism (Québec only)

  • Practical knowledge of Lenovo, Dell, HP, and Microsoft products

  • Knowledge of retail and distribution (an asset)

  • Writing skills (reports, standards, and procedures)

  • Excellent technical knowledge on PC

  • Knowledge of the Office Suite, Windows 11, Active directory, Outlook, and Citrix Team and leadership spirit

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to popularize and communicate knowledge

  • Ability to learn new systems

  • Easily adaptability to changes

  • Sense of organization, service, and concern for quality

  • Autonomy and initiative

  • Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware: PC (HP, Lenovo), laptops (HP, Lenovo), printers (HP, Xerox, Lexmark)
