The Strategic Sourcing team plays a central role in shaping purchasing strategies that are aligned with the company’s priorities and cost optimization for indirect spend. In the midst of a transformation, we are seeking a passionate, dynamic, collaborative, and result‑oriented strategic sourcing professional to actively contribute to our vision and the execution of sourcing strategies, support our internal stakeholders, and strengthen partnerships with our suppliers.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, the Strategic Sourcing Consultant ou Specialist?? will be responsible for the autonomous management of sourcing initiatives within their assigned scope and acts as a business partner to internal stakeholders. Engaged early, they contribute to needs analysis, structure and manage competitive sourcing processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), lead commercial negotiations, and support contracting activities in partnership with internal teams. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist works closely with Strategic Sourcing Managers and provide support during selected phases of more complex and strategic sourcing initiatives. They also contribute to select improvement initiatives within our three‑year roadmap (tools, templates, practices, etc.) in support of the team’s priorities and direction.
Your Role :

Autonomously manage low to moderate complexity sourcing initiatives and support Strategic Sourcing Managers during selected phases of complex and strategic sourcing initiatives

Contribute to the execution of procurement strategies aligned with business priorities (quality, cost, lead times, compliance, ethics).

Serve as a business partner to business units and engage early to understand needs and propose appropriate sourcing approaches.

Analyze spend, demand, and market conditions to support decision-making and maximize value for the organization.

Lead or support competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), design simple and fair evaluation models, and provide recommendations for stakeholders.

Lead commercial negotiations to optimize commercial and contractual terms, support contracting activities and ensure follow-up and resolution of contractual issues throughout the contract lifecycle.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Work closely with internal teams (Legal, Finance, IT, Operations) to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment.

Contribute to change management initiatives, the evolution of policies, guides and templates, and participate in the delivery of targeted training to facilitate adoption of best practices.

Contribute to strengthening sourcing governance and to selected continuous improvement initiatives to accelerate outcomes, reduce risk and increase value.
The qualifications we're looking for :

Hold a university degree in business administration, supply chain management, law or another relevant field;

Have (4) four to seven (7) years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management;

Demonstrated expertise in spend analysis, sourcing strategy development, managing competitive tendering processes, and commercial negotiations;

Excellent analytical skills, sound judgment, and strong verbal and written communication skills;

Comfortable working in a transforming environment with evolving ways of working;

Demonstrated autonomy, rigor, strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality;

Team player with collaborative leadership and the ability to influence;

Experience in retail and distribution (an asset);

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
