Position Summary
Reporting to the National Director of Operations Support, the Senior Industrial Engineer plays a key role in optimizing store work schedules. He/She develops data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce labor-related costs, and support field teams in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement schedule optimization models for stores using the Legion tool.
Analyze performance and labor data using Power BI to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with store management teams to understand operational needs and tailor proposed solutions.
Develop strategic recommendations aimed at improving productivity while maintaining customer service standards.
Influence internal stakeholders to promote the adoption of best practices in workforce management.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in labor optimization.
Skills and Qualifications
University degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in operational optimization, ideally in retail.
Proficiency with Proficiency in MS Office, retail systems, Legion and Power BI tools.
Excellent strategic analysis and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to influence and engage teams in change initiatives.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
