The primary objective of this role is to lead the strategic execution of all planogram design efforts, in‑store POG execution, and productivity analysis by planning, managing, and optimizing micro‑space through category and space management, while driving innovation that enhances space productivity in an efficient and highly creative manner.
Your Role :

Manage the productivity and efficiency of micro-spaces across all aspects of the store environment to deliver key outputs.

Lead the team responsible for creating store-specific planograms to support reset activities aligned with RONA’s overall strategic category review process.

Stay up to date on industry trends related to tools and processes and implement industry best practices within the area of responsibility.

Ensure that store environment standards and safety requirements are upheld through planogram design.

Define all aspects of planogram processes and collaborate with other departments to establish space productivity assessment and its impact on micro- and macro-space processes.

Play a leading role, in partnership with the Space Planning team, on all new enterprise-wide initiatives and special requests.

Continuously assess and improve the processes used to determine and plan assortments.

Develop and manage a team of managers to continuously evolve the organization and enhance productivity.

Lead the mindset and processes of space management with a focus on data accuracy and improving productivity of existing space.

Identify strategic opportunities to enhance space productivity and design methods, technologies, and processes to enable change.

Guide the team in developing solutions for store environments that align with the company’s strategy.

Ensure customers enjoy a connected omni-channel shopping experience across the store.

Lead the team in implementing operational efficiency within new store redesigns and layouts.

Actively seek feedback from store operations partners on new layouts and designs, and take prompt action to resolve issues.
The qualification we're looking for :

Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field

Graduate degree (an asset)

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in similar roles within a national-scale organization
