Our expectations
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the clerk is responsible for completing and processing adjustments to charge accounts, in addition to assisting in the overall running of the Accounts Receivable Department.
Your role
Receive calls, faxes, and emails from clients, and resolve them or forward them to others to ensure resolution
Process deposits on customer accounts according to the daily list.

Apply payments to invoices

Keep customer master files up to date and inform the credit department.

Perform credit/debit reconciliations.

Receive calls and emails from clients, and resolve them or forward them to others to ensure resolution.

Communicate with clients in Canada to resolve issues and reconcile their accounts
-
Support Canadian stores in correcting payment errors on customer accounts.

Payment research and reconciliation.
-
Complete EFT forms.
-
Manage email inboxes.
-
Complete customer master maintenance

Reconcile credit/debit accounts
-
Contact customers to resolve issues
The qualifications we are looking for
-
2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
-
Strong understanding credit policies and procedures (an asset)
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional attitude
-
Tactful, persistent, and decisive attitude when communicating with customers
-
Knowledge of the Microsoft applications
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Attention to detail
-
Proven organizational and prioritization skills; capacity to deal with multiple tasks and tight deadlines
-
Knowledge of AR automation solutions (an asset)
-
English/French communication, speaking and writing. (Frequent communications with internal/external partners and/or clients/employees outside of Québec)
