Job Title: Area Manager Store Operations Support
Location: District of Québec city including Chicoutimi and Alma.
Role Overview
The Area Manager Stire Operations Support acts as a strategic business partner to store leadership teams, ensuring efficient daily operations and providing technical and procedural support for retail systems, tools, and processes. This role drives operational excellence, supports technology adoption, and ensures compliance with corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Change Management Leadership
Support the rollout of new initiatives, processes, and technologies across the district.
Act as a change champion by communicating updates and ensuring smooth adoption.
2. Technology & System Support and Training
Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems, self-checkout, and other retail tools.
Train store associates on operational systems and maintain updated user guides.
Serve as the first point of contact for system-related issues and escalate as needed.
3. Operational Process Support
Ensure smooth day-to-day front-end and back-end operations and compliance.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for execution efficiency.
Monitor adherence to corporate operational standards.
4. Inventory Accuracy & Stockroom Operations
Oversee receiving, unpacking, and processing of deliveries to maintain inventory accuracy.
Support stores in implementing best practices for stockroom organization and flow.
5. Equipment and Asset Management
Ensure stores have all required equipment and devices (e.g., Zebra scanners, printers, Wi-Fi) to operate effectively.
Liaise between store operations, corporate teams, and IT for timely resolution of equipment issues.

Qualifications
Education:
Post-secondary education in Business, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years in retail operations or systems support.Experience with POS systems and retail technology preferred.
Skills:
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and training skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence without direct authority.
Proficiency in MS Office and retail systems.
