Your role

Reporting to the Digital Experience Manager, and working closely with the Digital Experience Specialist, the Digital Experience Advisor will play a central role in the execution of digital campaigns and the planning of the promotional calendar on rona.ca.

We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, proactive, data-driven, and full of initiative-ready to help elevate our digital practices. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in the online customer journey and its continuous improvement. If this is you, please read on to learn more!

Digital Marketing Campaigns
• Develop strategy and deployment plans for various marketing activities on rona.ca, factoring in market and consumer trends, key performance indicators, and business objectives of the digital department.
• Ensure consistency in key messaging and a seamless online customer journey, delivering content that resonates with target audiences based on seasonality and buying stage.
• Contribute to the weekly update of the homepage briefing and department banners, maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Design and enhance the digital experience for major promotional events such as Black Friday and RONA Week by building content pages.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses to evaluate past campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations for future optimizations.


Online Promotions
• Plan and manage the promotional calendar for online-only offers and coordinate their deployment efforts on rona.ca.
• Serve as the main point of contact with our external vendor for optimizing dynamic and personalized promotional offers.
• Analyze promotional performance data in collaboration with the finance team and provide recommendations to boost sales and exceed business targets.


Other Responsibilities
• Act as a subject-matter expert and advisor to the marketing and e-commerce teams regarding online customer experience and satisfaction.
• Provide guidance to the Digital Experience Specialist in their day-to-day responsibilities.
• Support the digital team on other marketing initiatives as needed.

The qualifications we are looking for


• University degree in marketing or administration, or any other form of experience and study deemed equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing or eCommerce
• Experience working with web analytics tools; Adobe Analytics is a strong asset.
• Solid understanding of user needs, behavior, and current interactive trends (UX/UI).
• Strong ability to adapt to change, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, political acumen, and the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
• Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is required.
