Job Summary
The Technical Tools Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of enterprise integration and scheduling tools within a large-scale retail IT environment. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of critical systems supporting data exchange and business operations. The ideal candidate is highly experienced, adaptable, and comfortable working in complex, high-availability environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, support, and maintain enterprise middleware and integration platforms including TIBCO (AMX-BPM, BusinessConnect, BusinessWorks, EMS), Informatica, and AppWorx (Application Manager).
Manage and support data exchange solutions such as EDI, AS2, X12, and related protocols.
Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Korn Shell (Bash) and Ansible.
Administer and support Linux-based systems in production environments.
Support Java-based applications and middleware components.
Manage digital certificates, including renewal, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system availability, performance, and compliance with operational standards.
Participate in change management, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Produce and maintain technical documentation using tools such as Confluence.
Work with ITSM processes and tools, including ServiceNow.
Required Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in large-scale enterprise or data center environments.
Strong hands-on experience with:
TIBCO middleware components
Informatica and AppWorx
Linux operating systems
Scripting (Bash/Korn Shell, Ansible)
Java environments
Certificate management
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
Assets (Nice to Have)
Practical knowledge of Oracle databases.
