Description
The Reynolds and Reynolds (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate - Shipping and Receiving to join our team in our warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario. We offer a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision and pension) and paid training.
In this position, you will be responsible for the shipping, receiving, and tracking of all inventory. It will be essential that all inventory is shipped, received, and packed in the most timely and cost effective manner. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate - Shipping and Receiving will be responsible for preparing all shipping documents, manifests, and database entries in a computerized system to track all shipments. You will also be tasked with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Receiving, verifying, inspecting, and recording product acceptance into databases for accurate inventory.
-Picking, packing, shipping and database entry of ordered products shipped to customers via the proper couriers.
-Store all incoming inventory in assigned bin and rack locations using a lift truck.
-Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams to proactively identify discrepancies and delays.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
-Organization and communication skills - written and verbal
-Handling of minor facility issues
- Perform routine inventory checks for inventory counts and obsolescence
- Assist in periodic mailroom distributions to external customers
Working Conditions:
- Sitting at desk - an avg. 1 - 2 hrs.
- Lifting and carrying items up to 25 lbs. 1-3 hours a day
- Ability to lift, bend, and carry products between 1 lbs. to 50 lbs
- Simple grasping and fine manipulation (both hands) 3-6 hours a day
- Power grasping, reaching above shoulder (both arms/hands) up to 1 hours a day
- When utilizing the pump truck -pushing/pulling up to 200+lbs up to 1-2 hours a day.
- Walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting at neck and waist up to 4 hours a day.
