GFTs impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. You will work directly with leaders who believe in celebrating successes and sharing learnings with other teams to promote progress.What will you do?Facilitate Agile initiatives from initiation through release, providing oversight to ensure alignment with RBC Agile/Scrum practices, including but not limited to, project kick-off, sprint, release and deployment planningAccountable alongside the scrum team for the achievement of release objectives and results that meet LOB stakeholders needs and expectationsTrack and manage risks to delivery and reporting financials for the TeamFacilitate discussion leading to collective decision-making, goal setting and conflict resolution within the teamRemove impediments to delivery success through the proactive management of external dependencies and simple team problem-solving, considering options and selecting solutions; escalate issues through business and/or IT channels where necessaryAccountable for creating and maintaining the appropriate vehicles for open communication within the scrum team (e.g. tracker boards) to create a trusting and safe team environment. Manage team performance to promote joint accountability for results and solve productivity issuesFacilitating and engaging in business analysis, user experience and technical conversations across platforms. Navigating and identifying shared IT services required by the team in the delivery of its objectivesWhat do you need to succeed? Must-have5+ years experience in project delivery with agile teamsExperience in software development and/or project management and/or business (system) analysis or other relevant professional experienceExperience with agile practices including scrum/Kanban, agile ceremonies (standups, backlog refinement, team demos)Experience delivering small to medium complex projects with agile teamsClear understanding of the various activities within a delivery projectExperience scheduling activities across all delivery teams to deliver a common capabilityStrong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally to articulate, measure and solve issuesNice-to-haveKnowledge of Scaled Agile practicesKnowledge of collaboration tools JIRA and ConfluenceExperience with Planview and/or RBC MIS (Management Information System)Basic financial experienceWhats in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
