Work Model: On-site (long-term assignment)
PTAG is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support large-scale mining and industrial capital projects in Saskatchewan. This role is embedded within a project delivery team and is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules to support safe, predictable, and successful execution.
The Senior Scheduler will collaborate closely with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls teams to ensure schedules are realistic, risk-informed, and aligned with execution strategies.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop, maintain, and control integrated, resource-loaded schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning

Establish and manage schedule baselines, updates, progress measurement, and forecasts

Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and scenario modeling

Analyze schedule variances and recommend mitigation and recovery strategies

Support change management, including evaluation of schedule impacts related to scope changes and delays

Ensure schedule alignment with cost forecasts, scope, and contract requirements

Review and integrate contractor schedules into master project schedules

Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates for project leadership

Participate in planning workshops, constructability reviews, and risk sessions

Ensure compliance with project controls standards, governance, and best practices

10+ years of scheduling experience on large-scale industrial or mining projects

Demonstrated experience in mining, potash, industrial, or heavy infrastructure environments

Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)

Strong understanding of EPC/EPCM project delivery models

Proven expertise in CPM scheduling and schedule analysis

Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Ability to work on-site in Saskatoon, SK for the duration of the assignment

Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline

PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent certification
-
Experience working within owner or embedded project controls teams
-
Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) concept
